Typical Oregon prices I've seen over the last few months for M37 LU-4 winch setups.

A complete used winch setup (everything - winch, bumpers, brackets, PTO, driveline) will run $800.

A nice rebuilt winch and the rest in decent shape not needing anything will run $1000.

A nice rebuilt winch and the rest freshly primered or painted will run $1200.

A complete NOS setup should run $1500 or a bit more.

The prices do not include shipping. That could easily add $100 to $200 or more depending where you live in relation to the seller.

Deduct for missing parts. Example, frame extensions run $70+ NOS and up to $50 used. A PTO runs $100 for ratty, $150 for good used and $200-250 for nice clean. Drivelines are harder to find than PTO's. Bumpers typically are bent and blacksmithing them is costly. The reinfocing brackets are often missing. The upper ones can be found NOS, for a price. The lower ones are hard to find at all.

There are also Brand X winch setups such as Garwood and Tulsa. These typically bring $600 for a decent complete setup. Note that there is a lot of depot made brackets to adapt these to M37's, including at times welded on frame extensions. Make sure you get them. Tulsa parts are hard to come by. If the Tulsa winch is damaged, figure you'll have to find another Tulsa winch to get parts. I don't know about the parts stuation for the Garwood. (I have an extra Tulsa setup, and will probably wind up selling it to someone needing parts as mine needs a non-existant replacement part.)
