Rob,

Good place I've found for stuff like bushings seals and bearings is MSC Corp. Industrial supply house like McMaster Carr but anyone with credit card can open an account. 1-800-645-7270
www.mscdirect.com

Teflon sheet 12" x 36"
1/32" thk Part # 32017279 $22.10
1/16" thk Part # 32017287 $44.09
3/32" thk Part # 32017295 $61.68

UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) Polyethylene 24" x 48"
1/8" thick Part # 52432143 $25.25

1/8" is the thinnest you can get. UHMW is better than teflon for abrasion resistance as it is used in mining industry to line chutes and hoppers. But I think 1/8" is too thick.
It can be cut with woodworking tools.

Copper Alloy 110 (Roofing Copper)
12" x 36"
0.043" thick Part # 32009177 $37.14
0.060" thick Part # 32009193 $54.38

Lots of other thicknesses of copper available.

Hope this helps,

Ken
