OldMOpar: I have a filter that should arrive today. Can you explain what the problem might have been with the some of the sock filters? I don't want to dig out my winter socks...
Plus, there is two large leather like washers, one at the base and one at the top of the filter. That is in addition to the O ring gasket for the top of the housing. Are you familiar with how they go on? They were inside my sock.
