Two big chemical companies one in Baytown and one in Freeport, TX are going to build plastics plants, each will employ over 4,000 tradesmen for 2-3 years. upon completion each one will employ 650-tradesmen. I am working on three offshore platforms / production modules, two for Chevron and one for Anadarko. I am working at a day rate of $800.00 plus expenses 7 days a week for over a year, projects are scheduled for completion 2014. If you want to work and don't mind moving come to Corpus Christi, Tx, Gulf Marine Fabricators hiring all trades working 7 twelves for 2-years. Wages $25-60.00 per hr plus $75.00 per diem. This is just the tip of the work scheduled for the next 5-years by Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, Anadarko, BP, and Conoco-Phillips. Sun, Sand with no SNOW and the clear blue Gulf of Mexico.
