My daughter does blacksmithing here,I see alot of different steels.And I watch the sparks sometimes off her grinder even better is to watch how the metal reacts in the forge.Real cast iron (I beleive) is rare and hard to find and welds some what different than mild and carbon steel.I would heat the pan dull red and try to tap the holes shut.Work the metal around a bit and see if you can crisp up some side pork.junoir copey ps i would like to post a picture of the forage goinng full blast,but dont know how too?
