forgot to mention replacing the stolen banjo nut was a chore having to take off the bearing cap and all

no way to get a socket on the cap bolt next to the rubber brake line fitting that goes into the banjo bolt fitting, so had to use a wrench to take it off and put it back on so no way to torque it down proper, course i donīt know what the torque is cuz i havenīt got my manuals yet and will have to loosen the hose in order to torque it down later, maybe it is after market replacement hose or some such tho and not fit like original

the inspection folks here have gottne real tuff, wonīt tolerate a rusty body or chassis, even if it is just surface rust, no major leaks etc.

well gear oil is dripping out of the front knucle so right there I am going to have to dive all the way in and replace the inner axle seals, nothing coming out from the drum so i guess the wheel seals are still sealing

may have to do a complete restore just to make the inspectors happy so i can get plates

the sheet metal on the cab is screwed to the oak frame, I unscrewed some screws easy enuff so should be able to take all the sheet metal of prep and paint, meanwhile refurbish the oak frame with the sheetmetal off

somebody but a brass drain plug in the mc which i twisted up as it was frozen to see if there was any fluid in the cylinder so i loosened the fitting and stuck a screwdriver in and got a little fluid on it so will now proceed to try and bleed the brakes
