will be from cleaning a tank and sealing it yourself. if you are even close to what having the tank renued processed, i would consider it. i had it done on a rare NOS command car fuel tank so that i would never have a fuel tank corrosion issue. while i was at the shop, i saw tanks i would have never considered usable being restored and sealed for life. i would never do it any other way. the cost of a tow, a rebuilt carb, a clogged fuel line ruining your day + the cost of doing it yourself puts the process in relative equal footing.
