I'm not sure what you mean by parting out... The inner felt and seal are garbage and if you are not tearing the diff apart for a rebuild then this is a shortcut to repairing the leaking seal material. The easiest way to remove the old complete seal assembly is to weld on studs or nuts onto it and then use a puller to remove. I have done all mine this way. I cleaned up the steel portions , removed the old inner seal parts and installed new fresh seals. Otherwise you can buy new complete units and install them. The outer seals on my WC63 were not damaged or worn so I just replaced the inner seal material during the diff overhaul. New bearings and gears and they are good for another 70 years..
