Once I bought a REAL mig machine, my welds sure got pretty. I credited the machine. They were so much neater than on the gun safe I made after hours 30 years ago. I knew for sure it wasn't steadier hands. Or better eyes.
Since then, I have learned that S-6 is higher silicon, for cleaner welds than the S3. And I don't know what else got better in the wire. But I sure do like it.
