at first glance the early vs later(i have seen both) radiators appear to be completely diff., on the early the tank on top extends forward whereas on the later the tank extends backwards, in all reality it looks to me as they just turned it around with the tank extending to the rear and redid the spouts which maybe a radiator shop could do or have a radiator made accordingly looks like if you turn it around it would work.

as far as i can tell there is plenty of room between the fan and the early grill to put a radiator between the two, you may need to have a radiator made or as I said reverse the earlier one and mount it to the outside of the radiator support instead of inside which gives you the needed 2 inc. or you could mount the radiator to the backside of the grill

i got extensions and winches for my 62, but don't know if they are late model or early model, so don't know how that will work out yet----what's the diff., i assume the late is longer

just extend and reinforce the mounting ears two inches on the engine mounting bracket redrill and you are good to

as soon as i determine if my radiator is good i will try to redue the spouts and turn it around and mount either to the front of the radiator suppoort or the grill

and let you know how it works out
