David....I am going to add an old 30 gallon compressor tank to my system for storage. I have a 2 stage upright I bought from Grainger. It only has a problem when I run something with major air waste (like a sander) for very long. i have piping running from the compressor through my shop with outlets in various places. I want to plumb in the old tank in it's present location (up on a shelf near the ceiling, out of the way), but it's about 30' away from the compressor. I'm thinking this won't matter, that it will still store and release are no matter where it is located. What do you think? Jerry
