A few things to think about. I have two compressors, one cheapo from Lowes, and a commercial Ingersol Rand. (not TSC).
The Lowes is single stage, noisey, and frankly does not work on sand blasting. It will make 100 PSI.
The commercial IR has an input air filter, oil in the crankcase, and a much larger pump flywheel that turns at a much lower RPM than the lowes POS. Because it turns at the lower speed, I can hold a conversation when I am next to it. Also, the IR compressor will do 175 PSI.
On the power.... If you have home service you most certaintly do not have three phase power. One way to tell is look at your transformers near your house. Are there three mountd on the pole? Do you have four wires coming into your house? Most if not all residential homes have single phase power.
