So, if I am reading this correctly, you currently do not have the correct doors to accept factory vent windows? And, you want to convert these doors that were not designed for vent windows to doors that will accept vent windows?
I have never attempted to do this (if this is in fact what you are trying to accomplish). I would suggest borrowing a complete door that was designed for vent widows to use as reference. I do not have the two different doors side-by-side to compare, but if my memory serves me, there will be more to the effort than just creating some slots and adding shims.
