modern pistons

is there any merit to trying to find modern pistons to fit the ole flattie bores rods and cranks

one guy was saying he was spinning a lng bl 218 at 6000 rpms no prob.

so why not use the 218 rods and crank with a 265 bore or more

even if you just ran it a 4000 rpms you would be you would be moveing down the road pretty good for a ff
