I am partial to Milwaukee. I have had Panasonic, Dewalt and Makita, but about 14 years ago I bought my first Milwaukee cordless, and it is still going. I have since bought another regular cordless, and an impact, and just recently bought the small compact versions - they are lightweight, small enough to get into tight spaces, and have a lot of torque. My problem with Dewalt was that I had a battery charger that burned up on a generator. At that time, there was nothing in the manual that said you could not do it. Dewalt rep would not replace it. I have charged my Milwaukee batteries off of a generator with no problems. Thus was 15 years ago though, and tool companies change their policies like the wind. Matt
