sweptline stuff is problem free for me. the 70s they started using aluminum connectors and poor plug designs. copper prices wnet through the roof and they started to skinmp. by then the big three had been taken over by bean counters adn run into the ground. bankrupt by 79. the 70s is a completely different animal than the 60s in many ways.
