I have a 1942 WC 1/2 ton that I will be selling soon, and it has a Dualmatic two-lever locking hub on the front passenger side only. The driver's side hub is not so equipped, but has a cap screw centered in the hub cover. I was pretty sure when locking hubs are installed, you're supposed to install both sides. Any insightful comments on this would be appreciated, because I originally wanted to see if it was possible to bring that Dualmatic hub over to my 1-ton 1951 B3PW, but now I have serious doubts. I have read several archived posts from this website regarding Dualmatics, but I cannot determine what locking hub (short of buying a brand-new afertmarket set) would be appropriate for the B3PW. Anyone have any comments, I'd like to hear from you.
