That day last July when the M37 vapor-locked just before I got to the top of the mountain and I had to hike back to town poking my old dog in the butt with a stick all the way seems like a distant dream. I can't remember a bare dry road any more than I can remember walking around without my Carhartt jacket on. Vapor lock? It's still ether and jumper cables season here.
