The hood latch is usually worn out and if hauling home not uncomon to come unlatched and ruin hood, windsheild and cab, then the clutch master and slave cylinders always need replacing, made in italy replacments fail asap, get the ones from guy on here who relines with chrome, all brakes usually need shoes and brake cylinders as well, emergency brake cables rusted up if even still there, not available must be fabbed from scratch, floors almost always rusty from built in rust making mat and indentions, dont forget the ignition switch as many are loose or worn out and the napa junk is pretty sorry as well, door bottoms rust out from dirt plugging up drains for 40 years, cab mounts always are guaranted to need new rubber or welding up since rusty, if you have a crewcab rusted out rear doors go for $450 plus shipping and need repair, dont forget the glovebox are wasted usually and the dash and roof is usually full of holes from firemen mounting 10 radios ataenas or lights of some kind!! My favorite is the chevy or ford mirror mounted on the dodge door with bondo where the factory west coast mirror was from the factory, dont forget added dash wiring and homemade bumpers and SMV stickers on wood tailgates!!!! You have to love pain and rust worms to fool with a sweptline truck for sure especially since no replacement body parts are avaialbe at a competive cost still, crazy how one can build a superbee or roadrunner from a order book now but not the truck that pulled them to Alamo drag raceway on a towbar!!LOL Long live the orphaned sweptine powerwagons!!!!
