I have had the vapor lock thing going on for the past 4 years. It took me awhile to work out the other bugs and I was left with this. I added the heat shield, and it only helped a little. It would still stall out on hot days at a stop light, or is stop and go traffic. This year I have insulated the fuel line. I'll see if that helps. What dose work is my back up electric fuel pump by the fuel tank 100% of the times. So when I feel the truck start to that huckle buck. I can through the switch on the dash to turn on the electric pump and it clears up with in a few seconds and when I feel like if has cooled down I kick if off and let the truck run on the manual fuel pump. good luck.
