Mines lucky to see a wash once a month, and even then its just water, no soap. And yea they run em till they're outta parts. Ive been there 18 years and one of the first trucks i drove was 26 years old at the time. Wooden shelves in the back and a wooden bulkhead door.
I got pulled over in it by a sheriff and he told me my brake lights were out, so i wrote it up, the mechanic fixed it and i got the same truck the next day, got pulled over again and the sheriff says "your brake lights are out" That truck wasnt around much longer. At one time we Had a couple dozen of em parked in the back lot all painted silver and waiting to go to the crusher.
I drew this kilroy on the back door of my truck this past fall, it stayed there for 3 months before the truck got washed !!
