It was synchro 1-4.

They also used an OD 5sp in some Travelalls, but I haven't seen one lately.

But what about the 435 won't fit? Mounting ears can be build up, it can be spaced back an inch if the input is too long. Apparently the output driveline can be made to work. Biggest hoo-hoo would be input shaft too short. Then, PTO ?
