Thanks guys for all the great input on the engine swap idea. I haven't made up my mind, but still lean heavily on keeping it original. Not only does the original keep impressing me with the low torque, but I really do love the sound of it.

I haven't been out to work on it lately, just finished passing a kidney stone from my left side kidney. Happens about every four years, but this time it came out without going in to have it crushed by the ultrasonic crusher. This is great news, as the last time the cost hurt more than the stone.
