I'm in the middle of my first paint so not much help. I did hire a part time paint and body man that I pay 20 dollars and hour to help keep me out of trouble. The most important thing is protect your lungs during sanding and painting. These new paints are very toxic if you breath them in. I had to respray a couple of items but who cares. The sanding takes time the bigger your crew the better. One thing about doing it yourself a few mistakes you won't care. It's easy to get caught up in making the trucks look way better than my personal preference. My original paint had plenty of runs inside the cab. The factory painters knew areas that would not show and did not spend much time on them. You do get a lot of satisfaction that's off sets the sanding and pounding time.
