I got a bit of Tetnus on Saturday! My son Matt and I went to Dave’s farm and helped him dismantle Tetnus. After a few minutes of disbelief at his fleet of fine trucks, we lit the torch and loped off bolts. Thanks to Dave I now have some repairable winch bumper parts and fenders to cut patch panels from. The window winders were the best find of the day. They both work and just need cleaned and lubed. Along with the fun of being around someone else who loves old trucks, we had gourmet sandwiches that his mom brought us. Last but not least I drove one of the power wagons, I haven’t put my toes on one of those starters and used Armstrong steering like that since the late 80’s. All in all it was a very good reminder why I’m compelled to drag home these junkyard refugees. Thanks Dave! Jim Hill
