Yeah, the good car covers are made of Acrylic. But a much cheaper weave, or is it 'non-woven'?
Sunbrella is what all those bright blue yacht parts covers are made of. Bimini tops, sail covers, etc. Though I do see some in the Linen color.
Sunbrella also comes in upholstery weigth, with stripes too. Cheaper, only $22 yard.
Hey, if you want it, I've got that mile o' polyester striped stuff. Polyester is #2 in UV resistance, I used polyester thread for my tarp. I'll post a pic. Poly is used in car covers too.
Hmmm, 7 times the material, 7 times the sewing? Good thing I have two spare heads for the old 201. ;^)
