I just started my installation. I go the kit from Roberts. It looks fine, and seems like the pieces will go together well. I did figure out an easy way to punch the holes in the new headliner in the correct places. I used a strip of Kraft paper taped to the area below the rear window and across the ceiling to transfer the hole pattern, then taped it to the headliner in the proper place and marked the holes. I used a small hollow tube, sharpened on the grinder to make a punch for the holes. Also my heat gun was helpful in the corners at the rear of the cab.
I have a question. In placing the new rear window and seal, is it necessary to use some form of sealant to keep moisture out?
