no matter what others may tell you
big investment in parts & time to R & R
go into any large dealership & ask how many
techs do the above work
probably one engine guy, one tranny guy, &

now the tranny might be removed by a young buck but the final assembly & set up is done
by an experienced skilled tech
quick test: if you do not know what prussian blue is and what it is used for then you are
a red neck and should have the job done by
one who does
regards 4.89 vs 5.83 gears
our 48 has 430,000 miles put on by the first owner Norm Kaufman with yes 5.83s
has been all over the US and as far North as
dutch harbour
