Well, I like the Work Bench's to be at 36", and with 39" tires that's not possible. :-)
On the cross member, I've placed the ones on each side of the wheels so that when the tire went up to almost kiss the bed floor they would clear, then spaced the other two in the space left.
My rear springs are 14 leaf, with each leaf measuring 11/32". The fronts are 12 leaf, with each leaf measuring 9/32".
