A good accurate torque wrench and the repair manual will be your best friends. I just overhauled mine and had to replace the input shaft as the small bearing end was worn down. Parts are around and fairly easy to obtain. Buy the overhaul bearing set and seals from DC. His parts are top quality and work well. Some special tools are needed but you can get by without them if you are careful. It is a great xcase to overhaul. Make sure the output shafts have the correct bearing preloads , it makes a huge difference in longevity and heat while running. You will need to obtain speedi sleeves to repair your yokes most likely. Any questions just ask as you go. Terry
