When we were racing, duct tape was known as "200 MPH" tape, and I am sure it will hold any fly-away piece on that unit for as fast as you might drag it home. I have personally seen racecars exceed 160 MPH with only tape holding on hoods, doors, decklids, etc. You might want to bring a bunch of rolls with you for the recovery mission. Wrap the whole thing up like a hockey stick, and she'll be good to go.
Maybe bring a stack of Super Magnets if you are really worried about losing things...
