T am hoping it is an air powered booster for hydraulic brakes. The large chamber looks too small and long to be vacuum powered, and there is a bleeder fitting for brake fluid visible in the picture on the link below. My Mog, like many military trucks, has an engine mounted air compressor for filling tires and towing trailers, but still uses hydraulic brakes. To run the trailer, they used a hydraulic-over-air control valve that ran air to the glad hands. That valve is a lot smaller and looks sort of like a big cutting torch regulator.
