So maybe I was a little hasty on the 55mph spped limit but, do we really need to drive 1 or 2 miles to the grocery store, 3-4 times a week, why not do it in one trip. Why not stay home one day a week with little or no driving.
What is wrong with riding a bike 95% of us need to exercise (me included). 50% of the population lives 2-3 miles from their place of employment, ride a bike when the weather is enjoyable.
Yes, I know what most of you are thinking, he works for an oil company and get's free fuel. That is far from the truth, I pay for it like everyone else does with no discounts or perks.
Kaegi, true you can buy a lot of land for 53 million dollars but the point is there are only so many deep water inlets in Texas and Mustang Island is next to one of them. Just the floating part of the rig weighs in excess of 150,000 tons the topside are another 75 to 80,000 tons.
