Today I decided I would figure out what I wanted to do as far as the front bumper. I don't know if I want to spend a little time on the full bumper and get it in good shape and use it until I get the winch ready, or if I want to take the winch bumper apart and get the frame extensions on and get the guides and everything all cleaned up and get it all back on except for the winch itself. I really like both looks a lot.
So I pulled the winch out from under the truck and gave it a good look over. I noticed a few things that I don't know if its damage or if its normal. The link is to the file of three pics of my winch.
First, notice the right bracket, towards the bottom of the pic, the angle brace seems bent. Ok, is the winch bracket itself bent too?? Then of the left side of the winch, the frame extension definitely seems bent. So I was wondering if the winch was torqued somehow and it bent the bracket and the frame extension
