Even better, look thru the parts books and find whinch models of ford diesel trucks had the 12v electric vaccum pumps on them and then find one, install, and don't worry about the gas peddle any more!! going up a hill in a driving rain is a pita no doubt. jc whitney and warshosty used to sell vaccum pumps to solve the problem(fifty years ago) Dave.
