Thanks for all the fast replies. The transfer case is certainly well worn... It works, along with all the gears, but I can "wiggle" the input and rear output shafts enough so that it is visible, which tells me there is certainly some worn parts. This truck spent a lot of its life pulling a hay wagon, and before that as some kind of utility truck in Ohio.
