We had an old hardware/fuel/building material store here called Sandpoint Ice and Fuel. The only thing they didn't sell was ice. Altho back in the day when the winters were really cold there were people who made a living cutting ice from the lake. They sold coal, too. I used some in my wood stove and it got so hot it practically melted the sides of the stove.
