Thanks for the info. The front springs in my truck according to the data plate are 1500# each.
I called around about getting the springs re-arched and was told they don't do that any more-too expensive. They sent me to a spring shop in Billings who said they can supply 1900# springs for $330/pair. I decided to go that route.
Are all these vans and trucks from the 60's rust prone?? My truck spent most of its time parked in side and was a western truck-still it has rust issues.
