The spares are still soft like I would expect.

I have found that the Wranglers stick to slick roads as if the compound was very soft, but wear as if the compound was very hard. I hate the thought of buying from some manufacturer other than Goodyear, since I have have gotten such good service out of them, but neither vehicle is currently due for new tires for probably another 60,000 miles (if I use the new spares). I refuse to pay a premium price at that time when I know I will most likely be getting rid of the vehicles later within 40,000 to 50,000 miles. I do not want to pay for someone elses new tires and at 200,000 miles, what I can expect to get out of the vehicles in a sale at that time will not be affected much by the condition of the tires.

Not much winter here. How about your area?

Thanks,
Junior
