Sounds to me like its working like its suppose to. If you put yourself in his place its not difficult to see that this is most likely a way for him to say thank you. It doesn't diminish the gift you have given him over the years. I imagine that the caring you have demonstrated is of so greater a real worth than a truck that one may pale next to the other.
I am fairly new to this forum but I have been into MV's for awhile. Thank God (in the true sense of the term) for those people in the community who will help with no expectation of reward. Have patence for those who see this only as a means to enrich themselves.
Thomas, you know the man, we don't. My thoughts are: enjoy the truck and continue to help others without expectation of monitary compensation. Good Luck
