honey combs are more efficient, but more expensive to make, also harder to repair(you can't rod it out worth a darn,certainly can't pinch off a leaky tube).They stopped making them in the 60s?.your b1p probly has a replacement radiator in it.The only place I've seen new honey combs is in heater cores- I'd guess the space restrictions under the dash make it worth the extra expence.
