Yup, the truck owes back fees, new owner is liable.Just on registration I think its something like 30 days late, extra 10%, 90 days 50%,1 yr= double, each year after is double.After a couple years, you gotta wait it out.I don't know how much the exorbitant nature of these penalties cost the state,you'd think they'd settle for a token penalty to get you back on the tax roles.
