You may have to get someone to reconfigure your pitman arm after you put in the springs. Or if you're really adventureous, change to a power steering box instead of the assisted type. If you go with the latter, Helitool is supposed to be coming out with a kit to put a mid 70s box on 71 and older PWs, but they haven't posted it on their site. I called them a while back, and I beleive the kit was going to be about $270 and you have to provide a box, pump with brackets and hoses.
