Just ran over to Maine and picked up a big Industrial Air Compressor for the Power Wagon Shop. Its used, probably 20 to 30 years old, in like new condition. Started its life at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Its a horizonal tank model. It looks big enough to blow the ballast on a Sub.
I can not find any info on it by searching the web.
The name plate on the frame above the tank gives the following information;
United States Air Compressor Company, Cleveland Ohio, Model MK663.
The Model on the actual compressor head is MK20439.
Does anyone have any specs on this compressor, or if the Company is still in business or absorbed by some other company.
