I have 900x16 NDT's on my 41 WC, and had the opposite experience with wandering. My truck had 750x16 square shoulder mud tires and it wandered very badly especially in ruts. With the round shoulder NDT's, it drives much better on the road, and no longer wanders. As for traction, I think the only surface they are any good for is loose mud. These tires are very stiff, and compared to the BFG's on my Jeep, airing down doesn't gain you much. I think the Michelins would be a much better tire offroad.
