You're right. But the truck is ALOT higher - the wife can't get in too easily. My lousy Sears 2 ton floor jack can't lift it enough w/o a few 2"x4" wood spacers. The 900 x 16's were 36" high and the XL's are about 38.5" - which means the truck should sit 1-1.5" higher [but seems to be alot more:)).
I don't know what new XL's cost - but I've heard over $250 each. Charlie can tell you more on this.
