Joe: If you are asking about the input shaft on the transmission used in the 1968 W300, it should be 1" diameter 10 spline, same as the input shaft used on the lighter W100 & W200 trucks around those years. For 1967 and earlier, the W300 input shaft was 1-3/8" diameter 10 spline, same as used on the bigger medium duty (D400-D600 or so) trucks. It seems the W300 transmission input shaft went from 1-3/8"-10 to 1"-10 when the engine changed from the 318A (wide block) to the LA-318. I don't know where you can find a replacement, but perhaps the above information will help. Good luck! Fred
