Assuming you find a set of Michelins at a price you want to pay. . . Try Sexton Tire. $75 for 50% tread - where I got mine 2 weeks ago. Likely sold out now.

11.00x16 pros/cons VS. 9.00x16

How much power loss on take off's & hills

No idea. Truck isn't on road yet but acceleration should be worse, but the M37's are slow anyway so what is a little bit slower right? I figure I will use 1st gear on starts more frequently. Shifting between 3rd and 4th will be more interesting since the larger tires will exaggerate the large gear split between the gears.

How much gruond clearance will I gain?

I picked up 3". They are a little bit wider too.

How much turning radious will I lose?

From playing in the driveway, looks like very little if any. The tires can be turned as much as the 900 x 16's without hitting the body.

How about torque on axles & driveline?
It will increase but I don't have #'s.

Finally, for off road use in mud, you'll want to have enough tire spin to sling the mud out of the tire cleats to get traction. You got enough torque/hp to do that with either the 900 or 1100 x 16 tires?

BTW: The Michelins are directions. I almost made a mistake when mounting them on the truck.
