Hi all: As some of you may know, Precision Coachworks has been a part-time business for the past 23 years. This has made it very difficult for me to get new products out the door in a timely fashion. I've had very demanding full time job responsibilities for years, which has not allowed me to "make my own hours" to do my thing for the reproduction parts business that I'm in. I surprise myself sometimes that I'm able to get done what I do! But, guess what happened yesterday? I got laid off! The company that I worked at for the past 17 years has, with the new management on board, "managed themselves to death". Their major customer has pulled almost all of their work in the past few months, and I, along with seventeen others, got the ax! So, what does this mean? I certainly hope it means that I'll be able to now concentrate more heavily on getting those POWER WAGON BEDS to market sooner! Yes, I've filed an unemployment claim, and that, together with a little bit of a severance package that I received, will hopefully carry me through to a point of being able to pull off getting something to fruition more quickly! Naturally, I'll have to go through the motions (sincerely) of finding another job, but I'll take one day at a time. Wish me luck! Thanks.
