Guys, ya got me all wrong! I'm not jacking around (not seriously, anyway!) with the shift RAILS (the internal rods), it is the external rods which connect the hand shifter inside the cab back to the T-case that I'm going to fabricate!

You guys remember column shift three-speeds (yucch)? Remember those rods that ran from the base of the steering column back to the tranny? Or mid-60's floor-shifted four-speeds in go-fast cars? The rods which ran from the base of the "pistol-grip" floor-shifter back to the external gear levers on the tranny?

Those would be the type of shift linkage rods I'm asking about!

Speaking of Hurst shifters, anybody remember Linda Vaughn? Woo-hoo...
